XBox 360 Price Cut Confirmed

by Paul

Rumors of a possible XB360 price cut that were floating around the internet for the last few weeks have finally been confirmed by The Wall Street Journal of all places. The cut will bring down the price of the XBox 360 Pro model from $349 down to $299 a pop. That’s a fifty dollar savings, folks. The Pro model comes with a 20 gig hard drive. While it’s not as cool as the Elite model which has a huge 120 gig hard drive, HDMI output, and a fancy black case, the Pro model will get the job done and it certainly beats the hell out of the Arcade model. So if you haven’t gotten a 360 yet, then get off the fence will ya? The price cuts are supposed to take effect this weekend.

So…people will be spending $299 instead of $349 for a console that STILL breaks down all the time and will be returning it over and over and over again? I guess some people would consider that a good deal.

  3. Paul Says:

Yes, it’s a terrible system that never works and it has really bad games and I don’t know why anyone would be so dumb to buy it because it’s so stupid it makes me tear out my hair since lots of people like it and I don’t understand why… ARGH!

  4. nobody Says:

Why do good games justify a poorly designed and faulty console that costs hundreds of dollars? The argument that “the 360 is the only console that has Halo 3″ or other specific games, isn’t good enough. Too many people have abandoned the 360 because it breaks down and too often. I know I can’t keep buying games for my 360 because I KNOW it will continue to break down and at some point the warranty will end leaving me with a broken console and a lot of money spent on a lot of games that can’t be played. I just don’t understand how investing money in a product that is proven to not work makes sense. My question and opinions are genuine. I just think my argument is valid and justified. I can read your mind…”get over it.” I don’t get over things well when someone knowingly rips me off for a lot of money, especially Microsoft. Enjoy your Halo 3…when your console does work everyone. My comments are not directed at you or anyone else Paul, my finger is pointed at Microsoft.
