You know, it would take a feat of extraordinary measure for batshit crazy attorney Jack Thompson to render me speechless. But somehow… some way… Thompson found a way.

So what did this man, who has previously blamed Bill Gates for the Virginia Tech shootings, attacked both Halo 3 and Bully, and even used his own child to further his insane beliefs, do to make me literally choke on my cider?

…he mailed gay porn to a US District Court Judge! I have but one question for Jack Thompson: When you dove off the deep end, did you bring a shovel with you to dig deeper once you hit bottom?

Jack Thompson filed a document with the Southern District of Florida, claiming that the Bar was collaborating with another Florida attorney named Norm Kent. Kent specializes in gay activism cases. Considering the topic, I’m sure that will come up.

No pun intended.

Thompson had criticized Kent the week prior for Kent’s ties to the National Gay News — Kent owns the organization. I guess Thompson wasn’t quite convinced that the courts would see Kent’s villainy through simple words, so Thompson proceeded to attach several images of gay porn that was handed to a Judge Jordan.

Judge Jordan was not amused.

Now Thompson has until October 5th to prove why Judge Jordan needed to see hardcore prison love, or else he could be held in contempt of court.

Through his actions, Mr. Thompson made available for unlimited public viewing, on the court’s docketing system, these graphic images. [referring to the butt piracy]

For this reason, by October 5, 2007, Mr. Thompson shall show cause why this incident should not be referred to the court’s Ad Hoc Committee on Attorney Admissions, Peer Review, and Attorney Grievance for appropriate action.

But wait, it somehow finds a way to get even better! In one of the many court filings Thompson submitted, he equates his plight to that of someone else:

To hold Thompson in contempt for alerting the federal court system to the criminal activity… is akin to arresting Paul Revere, in 1775, for “disturbing the peace” with his midnight ride.

…I don’t even have the words. If it were anyone else but Thompson, I would fear for their mental health. But, this IS Jack Thompson, and worse yet… this is his normal behavior. I seriously fear for his children sometimes.

Oh, by the way — he referred to the guy at GamePolitics as “Sweetie” in an e-mail. That’s not going to help the gay jokes any.
