Rock Band DLC Update: Week of 02-25-08

by Paul

This week brings in another round of music for Rock Band, this time it’s Nine Inch Nails with two awesome songs and one that most people have never heard of. The songs are available as a package or you can download them separately. This three pack was actually scheduled for download in March and there’s no word yet on what songs will replace the empty slot now.

The songs are:

* The Collector
* March of the Pigs
* The Perfect Drug

Videos after the break!

The Collector

Not a bad song, but this is unarguably the B side of this release.

March of the Pigs

This is a great song that will definitly be fun to play on the drums. I’ve gotten word that the piano portion is played by the guitar, so in order for that to make any kind of sense… just pretend it’s an uber awesome keytar.

The Perfect Drug

This is a great NIN song, but its got a lot of synthesized instruments in there that makes it very much unlike a traditional rock song. The drums are also very difficult. So difficult that my buddy Shawn (who is like the world’s biggest Nine Inch Nails fan ever) says that they rarely ever play it live because the drums are so complicated. Good luck to you drummers out there…

    Five Star of “The Perfect Drug” …

    Holeee shit that was quick (both the persons drumming and in reference to the speed in which this video was made… this DLC just came out!)

    I will be downloading when I get out of work tonight, can’t wait to pretend like I will get even near 2 stars.

  2. That Girl Says:

    I need to start playing Rockband again

  3. Paul Says:

    Jesus that is fast.

    That Girl… yes you do.

    And my roomate just bought these songs… it’s certainly odd to see the guitar used to play the piano.
