Leeeeeeeroy Jenkins!

I’m pretty sure this is old news to you guys, but this is still great stuff for me. For those of you who haven’t seen this video, I don’t want to ruin what happens. But let me give you a rundown of what this is:

This is a raid party in World of Warcraft. The way they are chatting is with a program called TeamSpeak. It’s alot easier to plan things out when your talking rather than typing everything. So basically they’re planning their attack for all of the enemies (creeps) in the next room.

Enjoy!

Splinter Cell: Double Agent Multiplayer Demo on XBLM

by BB
SC: DA

For those readers who have an Xbox 360, Microsoft suprised everyone this morning by dumping Splinter Cell: Double Agent Multiplayer on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Mine is downloading as we speak and I’ll give a mini-review on how it is later in the day.

PS3 Online: How’s it coming along?

by BB

The guys over at Eurogamer.net got their hands on the latest version of the PS3. And rather than taking it out for a ride, they did the next
best thing and tried out the PS3 Online. The most suprising thing from the article is that Sony was true to their word about it being totally free (except for the online purchases of course). Looks like Microsoft is going to have some competition.

Friday the 13th….Perfect day to pre-order the Wii!

by BB

Wii

Well, I’m sure alot of you already knew about this if you got the email from GameStop/EB Games, but today was the official day to pre-order the Wii. I’ve read a couple of articles all over the net about today and everyone is really not sure why if Nintendo said if in Nintendo’s official statement, they estimated the US will be getting 6 million Wiis, why were the preorder numbers so small. People reported some GameStops only had about 18-20 per store. I’m guessing Nintendo is going to make them hugely available to Wal-Marts, Targets, basically any big name department store where more soccer moms can get their hands on it for their already spoiled children rather than make the hardcore audience happy.

I don’t know about you guys, but I got my Wii preorder in my grubby hands already, how about the rest of you? Feel free to share your stories in the comments section.

First, allow me to introduce myself since millions upon millions of you will be reading my thoughts and views on all that is video gaming. My birth name is Daniel Perez, but my nickname/real name is BB. So let’s not get formal and just call me BB.

I don’t have a degree in anything at the moment, but I do love video games. I started playing video games back in the Atari 2600 days (I loved ET, but now I realize how much of a piece of garbage game it was.) I’ve been through many ups and downs in my video game life. I beat King Koopa many a time with a little help from Mario. I sped through the 2-D world, collecting many a ring as Sonic. I fought many an unannounced enemy in all of the Final Fantasy games. And my games of choice haven’t all been on consoles. I’ve also played many a Sierra, Apogee, and old school LucasArts and ID games. I’ve been through it all…and why? Because I love games.

Well, that pretty much sums up what I’m all about. I’m a gamer. Just like I’m sure most of you are. So I will be updating you all on the happenings of the gamer world. I will make sure that my opinions are just and show no favortism to any of the consoles or companies, and I will make sure that my spelling and grammar are up to par as well.

Welcome!
