Is Grand Theft Auto 4 being Limited by the Xbox 360?

What is the biggest challenge facing developers? Is it the slower processor in Xbox 360s compared to the PS3? Not necessarily. The biggest problems that developers are facing is the varied system units available by Microsoft, specifically, the lack of hard disk drives in some systems.
It seems that developers are finally starting to speak out, urging Microsoft to discontinue system packages that do not include the hard drive. Rockstar Creative Vice President Dan Houser had this to say:
“On PS3 you’ve got a guarantee that every machine is going to have a hard-drive and, with Blu-ray, you’ve got plenty of storage, whereas on Xbox 360 there’s no guarantee of a hard-drive and you’re working with the DVD format. Does that create limitations? Yep.”
Every single person I know who has an Xbox 360 owns the Pro Bundle. Xbox 360 lives off of it’s online capabilities, and I cannot imagine anyone who has purchased the system not to realize this. So Microsoft, we know you like throwing lowered price consoles at us, but not including a hard drive in every system is a gigantic waste of everyone’s time and money.

I do not know one person with just a “core” system. In fact, the only reason I had bought a core system was because they “pro” was sold out at the time, so I just had to buy a hard drive separate was all.
