Windows Vista Coming Nov. 30!

Maaaaaan, I’ve been holding out on getting a new laptop because of this stupid Windows Vista. But now, I can finally get a laptop after Nov. 30 because Windows Vista will finally be released! Now you may ask me, where’s the proof buddy? Well, the word comes from the Activewin.com website. Here is the full report:
The Windows Vista journey is about to reach the end of the beginning, with the official launch date of November 30 announced for the simultaneous launch of Office 2007 and the business version of Windows Vista.
A Microsoft spokesperson has confirmed that the planned release dates for Vista and Office are indeed November 30 after all, fulfilling Microsoft’s promise of delivering Vista in 2006.
That said, the general consumer versions of Vista are still planned for a January 2007 release, with the rumoured date of January 30 said to be on the verge of confirmation over the next few days.
One thing that confuses me to no end is the statement towards the end of the report. “..general consumer versions of Vista are still planned for a January 2007 release…” …..soooooo, will I be able to get Windows Vista Nov. 30th or not?
Anyone have any idea what they’re talking about? Shoot me a comment!

Nov 30 is when Vista is shipped to Microsoft’s corporate clients - ie, the huge companies which are going to roll it out immediately.
Consumers like you and I will need to wait until January, unless some of the OEMs begin shipping machines with it before then - but I doubt it.
