Wii Hard Drive Coming Soon?
Many gamers have beat down on the poor Wii because of it’s lack of a hard drive. At a mere 512mb of internal memory, and the hassle of SD cards, the space of the Wii is sure to soon become a problem, especially if you start to download a lot from the very popular Virtual Console. Also, SNK just recently promised that they are bringing Neo Geo downloadable titles to the Wii, which will average around 350mb each, and with the limited space that the Wii has, the belly of our white little friend is sure to become full…fast.

Because gamers always like to do more with their gaming consoles than just gaming, the rumors have started that Nintendo is going to announce an addon hard drive at this year’s E3. Let’s just hope that they don’t make it close to $200 like the Xbox 360’s 120gb external, because Nintendo fans won’t want an accessory that costs around the same price as their console. Only time will tell, but it seems as if it would be smart of Nintendo to allow external hard drive support, either by providing us with a proprietary one, or adding support via update.

They should just add support for USB hard drives. Microsoft’s hard drives for the xbox 360 are WAY too expensive.
