Want to Know if Street Fighter IV is Any Good?
If you’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of Street Fighter IV, then why not find out from the first ever national winner of the North American Street Fighter IV tourney? Over on videogaming 24/7 Dan Boutros has got a very in depth analysis of the new game from characters to the moves and why he likes/or doesn’t like each.
It’s a pretty interesting read even if you’re not a Street Fighter nut. Boutros doesn’t hold anything back. When he doesn’t like something, he lets you know. According to Boutros, Chun Lie fans will be a little let down. He says that she, “plays like the festering shit of her SF3, Alpha and SF2 Turbo mothers.” Yikes. The good news is that the game isn’t finished yet so some of the imbalance issues that Boutros has seen could be worked out by the time it’s released on the public.
Personally, I suck at Street Fighter and the amount of super combo bars and crap in IV is a little intimidating to me. Hopefully it won’t be totally a hardcore game because one of the best things about Street Fighter II was that almost anyone could find some enjoyment in it even if they did kind of suck.
