Virtual Console Releases - 3/26/07
This week I don’t know whether to be happy or disappointed in this week’s virtual console release. Because you see, it’s only one game this week, and normally that means that the game is so good that it doesn’t require any “smaller” games to be released with it. Here’s the virtual console list for this week.
- Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fireâ„¢ (Super NES, 1-8 players, 800 Wii Points)
Has anyone ever played Romance of the Three Kingdoms on the Super NES? I had no clue it even existed on the SNES, but there it is. That’s today’s virtual console release and until I read some reviews or see what this game is about, I will be disappointed once again in this week’s virtual console release.
Nintendo, Wii, virtual console

I have never played or even heard of that game.
You are correct in your disappointment.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire is a turn-based strategy war game set in ancient China. Koei made a bunch of these for the Super Nintendo. I own one called Rise of the Phoenix, and I have spent many happy hours playing it. I am seriously thinking about buying Wall of Fire on the Virtual Console.
I think it is good that they are bringing a very deep and complex game to the Virtual COnsole. Don’t be disappointed until you at least know what it is.

I played this quite a bit when it was out. It’s a really good turn based strategy game that takes place in Feudal China(I remember spending 8 hours playing it once). It’s a little bit more in depth than your normal strategy sim. It was a great game back in its day but I’m not sure if it’s worth paying 800 points for it since it’s probably pretty dated.

K, obviously this game doesn’t deserve to be the same price as Zelda! I’m holding out till they bring out Super Smash or Goldeneye revamped with Wii controls!

Ah, Goldeneye.
Or as it is known to me…. OXYGEN.
