Virginia Tech Tribute Produced by Members of HALO Online Gaming Community
As some of you know, I was deeply affected by the tragedy that occurred here in Blacksburg, Virginia. I am starting to come to grips with what I saw that day, but still hurting from the loss of my great friend Ryan “Stack” Clark and the other wonderful people whose lives were snuffed out by a deranged individual. If Ryan were here he’d be finding ways to make us all smile and that’s what I have to do whenever I get the chance. I came across this video and it made me proud to be a gamer. So many in the world try to blame video games for violence, but this is a prime example of the kind nature of gamers that is often ignored. I appreciate what the Human Armed Forces Clan did here with this tribute.
“The Human Armed Forces team believes that in the end, we all must remember the importance of keeping fictitious scenarios in perspective with reality, and separated completely from any real life scenarios. Our hearts to out to everyone at Virginia Tech and the countless people who are affected by it.
We are an Army of Many, a Family of One. The Human Armed Forces. Elite video game and Halo clan. Special thanks to YOUTUBE and Michael Andrews and Gary Jules and Tears for Fears who originally performed “Mad World,” and all of the other online gamers who contributed.”

This is incredibly touching, and a truly terrible event, The fact that the media started pointing fingers at the gaming community in less than 48, only to have the murderers ex-roommate discount that immediately…My condolences to everyone who has been effected by this tragedy and and especially to the people who have been lost.

Me and the administration at [HAF] were hit at home with this event. Most of our admin and members live in the same city, we all are big fans of Virginia Tech and some of us plan to attend that college after High School.
If anyone has any questions or would like to express their feelings, come talk to us on our forums, we would be more then happy to help anyone out.

I love that song. That song was the main thing that made Donnie Darko good.
