Video: Wii-Mote Controlled Robot
This video is simply amazing. Brian and Aaron over at USMGarage.com have programmed this robot to react to the movements they make on the Wii-mote. They first strap a tennis racket to it and begin to make some “tennis-like” movements, and the robot mimics the movements. Then they strap a sword to it, and that’s where the real fun begins.
This could be a new form of “Battlebots” where instead of the users using a huge remote control with a million buttons, they simply can have their robot mimic the movements and gestures of the user. But then, probably a couple of years after the first battlebot battle commences, these robots will turn intelligent and kill us all with their strapped on swords. Let’s just hope no one straps on a hand onto one of these machines, cause our only defense would be to just not open the door if we see a hulking machine outside.

That is pretty awesome:) I can see this getting many a hit! Brings me back to the old days in middle school robotics class. Now imagine just having a tiny robot for fun at home to interact with you when playing wii, like a little Johnny 5!how awesome would that be! I mean they have those dogs that interact with i pods ,why not!
