TMNT Trailer & Demo Released

by BB

TMNT has been pretty hush hush for the past couple of months. The movie comes out in about a month, as well as the video game, and I haven’t seen one commercial for it on TV. Not one advertisement in a magazine. Not even a trailer in the movie theater!

Well, I’m starting my own buzz here about TMNT. Yesterday, Ubisoft released an official trailer to the TMNT video game. As you can tell from the video, the game has more of a “ninja” feel to it, rather than the old-school beat-em-up arcade game from the late 80’s/early 90’s.

Also, if you want to whet your appetite, Ubisoft also released a timed demo of the PC version of TMNT the videogame. Download it while eating your favorite slice of pizza, just like the turtles would.

    I loved some of the old TMNT games back in the day, but it’s about time they get ninja on us in one. I’m looking forward to the release.

  2. Richard Says:

    TMNT2 for the NES was the best TMNT game. I loved playing that one. It was pretty hard too, even with the code for 30 RESTS or was it continues?

    TMNT was the hardest and almost impossible to beat. It wasn’t as bad as the AVGN made it out to be though, but that review was hilarious though.

    The trailer for looked kind of cheesy, trying to make it look like a movie preview, but I can see how it can appeal to kids.

  3. BB Says:

    @Richard:
    It’s a tactic that is often used for games that are based on the movie, look at the recent Spider-Man 3 video game trailer as an example.

  4. Kezins Says:

    haha.. it appeals to me and I’m 30..most of it is nostalgia though.

  5. Richard Says:

    I definitely have nostalgia for TMNT, especially the games since I spent a considerable portion of my Saturday afternoons playing them with friends. I miss those days.
