Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo ‘Puzzle Buster’ Video
Yesterday, Capcom announced Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo was going to be re-created and made available for the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network as a digital download. Capcom also released a video that shows off how the upgraded graphics will look.
As you can see, the gems look a hell of a lot shinier than in the original game, and also the special effects such as the gems crumbling and the attacks of the characters look a lot sharper too. All in all, this was one game that needed a major upgrade and I for one will be welcoming this game with open arms when it’s released.

I have never played Super Puzzle Fighter on any system at any time…. but being as I am the only person on Earth who bought Tetris Evolution on 360 ( http://www.destructoid.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4633 )… and also being a lover of Street Fighter/Capcom characters, I can see myself giving in and making this the first XBLA title I have ever bought.

@PacoDG: This really is a fun game. I can guarantee that you’ll have hours of fun with this game. I’m sure it’ll have online multiplayer, so I’ll be playing this for a long time, especially between game releases

First would be Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo and then of course Super Street Fighter II Turbo. I really hope they’re working on getting Street Fighter Alpha 3 and/or Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for digital download as well. [...]

[...] …what is so special about next week? I assume it’s a new announcement of some sort, but what could it be? Is there something in development for the PS3 that fans will surely die for? Or did he mean this in jest, and that next week we’ll learn that the PS3 version of Devil May Cry 4 has been cancelled? …that would suck. Either way, what do you think it could be, people? …hopefully it’s not a Super Puzzle Fighter port… [...]
