Sony Apologizes For Horrible Attempt At Marketing
It seemed that Sony is just desperate now. They actually made a website called “AllIWantForXmasIsAPSP.com” and it was so obvious Sony was behind it. I mean, they really tried way too hard to make it seem like the site was owned by a “hip” 20-something who decided to make a whole website devoted to how awesome the PSP is, and how he wanted nothing else for Christmas but a PSP. (As you’ll see in the video, he is neither “20 something” nor “hip”)
Here’s the official apology that was posted on the site today:
Busted. Nailed. Snagged. As many of you have figured out (maybe our speech was a little too funky fresh???), Peter isn’t a real hip-hop maven and this site was actually developed by Sony. Guess we were trying to be just a little too clever. From this point forward, we will just stick to making cool products, and use this site to give you nothing but the facts on the PSP.

Your pretty dumb. No really. stupid. How did sony get snagged??? they could deny deny forever if they wanted. Maybe they admitted to it for the publicity, or create a buzz around the topic. Who knows… Whatever it is … the number 1 console makers have been doing everything right so far. I think they got it under control. Pure fact Sony will be number 1. Okay so when they do you won’t be saying anything about there marketing then. Sony is more for the older gamers. Handhelds are for kids. Like I come home from work and I want to play with a handheld. Shit no…I want to sit in front of my big screen and play. So I assume this was a ploy to pick up some young gamers. Your IQ is Desperate.

BTW “Your IQ is Desperate” makes no sense on so many levels. Are you even an English speaker or did you just run that through a translator?

and whats this bullshit about sony doing everything right so far? can you confidently say they have done that? theres so many flaws even with the ps3, slow release, Limited release due to manufacturing problems, limited 3rd party support due to cost, taking out rumble features from their controller, adding in 6 axis shit to hopefully bring down wii’s popularity, then you got the psp, games are mostly ports, very limited range besides in jpn, UMD Movies was a failure and so forth. wake up doode, sony isnt the mighty sony anymore.

Slow release? yeah every system. UMD yes.. unsuccessful, okay.. can’t win them all. Bitter fact - Sony Will take the market share… end of story. If you had to bet everything on one company .. if you didn’t put it in PS3’s stock you’d be a fucking retard. But then again.. you seem like a retard. After playing all of them. I think PS3 games look just as good as xbox. PS3 games are first gen and the developers are barely using 20% of the true potential. Whatever the case. Sony will be where its at. So your question should be if you want to waste $400 until PS3 comes up to speed. Or you can by nintendos new upgraded wii with its dildo controller. Something tells me your all over that.

I was really worried you were just some corporate shill for Sony there for a minute, but then it turns out that you’re just brainwashed by a corporation that cares nothing about you. I’d take you up on your offer; I never turn down free alcohol. I live on the West Coast, though so that’s a problem.
I remember when I was a teen and I was totally involved in console wars. It was dumb then and it’s really dumb now. I want them all basically. They all have their advantages and disadvantages and they all have their ups and downs. It’s too bad I don’t have enough cash. I have my fiancé’s ring I have to pay for.
