Sony Apologizes For Beheading Goat

We reported the other day on Sony’s strange God of War II incident involving naked women, strange costumes and the actual beheading of a goat.
Well, it seems Sony has issued an official apology following international uproar over the incident. Many are upset that Sony would behead an animal simply to sell a video game. The incident was a little shocking and out of left field, but I think it actually worked for Sony. They got away with one this time, but I don’t think we will be seeing more animal sacrifices from the Sony guys for some time.
In its mea culpa, Sony said: “We recognize that the use of a dead goat was in poor taste and fell below the high standards of conduct we set ourselves.”
The company said it has launched an internal inquiry into the circumstances of the event and that it will put measures in place to make sure it does not happen again.

And to make up for killing a single goat, Sony will now buy and shut down McDonald’s worldwide, to stop the systematic murder of billions of cows. Oh please. We ‘’sacrifice” animals every day to eat. From what I gathered from the article, that goat was used for food. Although maybe not the best way to sell a game (although it did garner a ton of free publicity), nothing terrible really happened here (except from the goat’s point of view). A little in bad taste maybe, but chickens on a spit at the local rotisserie doesn’t seem to upset anyone. Unless they use the chickens to sell something else ?

And the way that pic is pixelated, am I alone in thinking it looked like the goat was eating something (or someone) ? That is until I read the article.
