Shivering Isles Re-visited

I had a chance to complete the Shivering Isles quests, so I can give a proper opinion of the release. Was it worth the money? Sadly, I must say it was not. I beat all the quests in a little over 20 hours. Of course my character was level 30 when I went into it, so that helps. I got all of the achievements except for one and that’s because you have to choose which house to rule in the game and basically get one achievement or another. Perhaps their claim to 30+ hours of play has to do with the fact that you better save your game early if you plan to go back and replay the quests just to get every possible achievement.
I’m not a spoiler guy, so I’m not getting into detail, but the expansion was enjoyable. I expected more of course, but it was still fun. There are new items and some really cool weapons and NPCs. I found the Shivering Isles story to be highly entertaining as well and a good change from the sometimes repetitive stories in Oblivion.
In the end, I would have to say it was a lot of fun, but probably not worth the money. Had it been a little cheaper, my review would be more positive.
