Shhhh…Halo 2 Vista Goes Gold [Update]

No official press release from Bungie at this time, but according to VooDoo Extreme, Halo 2 for Windows Vista has gone gold.

My first question is this: will it be as disappointing as Halo for the PC was? The first PC port suffered from being very slow, and the multiplayer was often very laggy.
Other than that (and having to get Vista to play it), very cool.
