Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles Co-Op?

According to the latest Official Nintendo Magazine UK, it seems the upcoming on-rails shooter Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles might allow for two player co-op. ONM’s reasoning behind it is pretty simple. When the game is played in single player, you are still accompanied with a CPU controlled character, which in the world of light gun games suggests that the character can possibly be controlled by a second player.

If this turns out to be fact, then Umbrella Chronicles just got that much more interesting. Light gun games are fun and all, but there’s a lot more fun to be had when you have someone next to you, fighting off whatever horde of enemies come at you. I just pray the aiming in this title is as precise as possible.
