Red Steel 2 Confirmed To Be In The Works.

For those of you who never played Red Steel, trust me, you missed nothing. Watching the commercials were more entertaining than playing that drivel.
On that note, Red Steel 2 has been confirmed to be in the works by the ‘Sensei’ on the Official Red Steel Enthusiast Community website. He writes:
“…if any student think he anywhere near ready for Red Steel 2…Get Ready to Do My Laundry!”
I am really hoping that Ubisoft reads up on the reviews for this game and work on the game and make it into something that everyone wishes the original Red Steel should have been. Better controls, better graphics, more swordplay with a sword that responds to your every moment and not through pre-determined movements, online multi-player! Seriously, who plays 4 player split-screen anymore? I felt like I was playing GoldenEye all over again. A sucky, unresponsive version of GoldenEye.
C’mon Ubisoft, give us the Red Steel that we were hoping for or don’t bother making a Red Steel 3!

I really hope it i s better because I am all into the Asian genre and sword fighting they could have done so much more with it. I would be happy if the second one is all sword fighting.

Boooo they should have left this at one game. Why does everything have to have sequels?

I used to have Red Steel, it was bad.

I think the reason why they would want to have a sequel is because they really want to give Wii owners the game we wanted in the original Red Steel. What they gave us was utter garbage.

sorry but i think redsteel kinda plays good after a while getting used to it.
its brings you more in too the action then any other FPS thnks to the Wii-mote.
some things are done pretty lame, but the action is good.
“Seriously, who plays 4 player split-screen anymore? I felt like I was playing GoldenEye all over again.”
having people over is way better then sitting alone @ home playing games( including online).
and WTF is wrong with golden eye? one of the funnest games ever

“A sucky, unresponsive version of GoldenEye.” You forgot that part of the quote. I never said GoldenEye was bad. The way you quoted me made it seem like I didn’t like GoldenEye, if you add in the next sentence, then you’ll see that I loved GoldenEye. As well as Perfect Dark. I spent hours on end playing the multi-player over friend’s houses. But times change, people move away and the only way I ever get to play with my friends anymore is over the internet. So your idea of “having friends over” doesn’t really work for those people who’s friends are far away. If the game was half-way decent, then I would have been more upset about the lack of online multi-player because then I would have wanted to play it with my friends. But the way it was, I didn’t want to play with my friends or with myself for that matter.

Red Steel was a fair attempt at a FPS on an ENTIRELY NEW console, using an ENTIRELY NEW control system, which i have to say, was amazing. sure, it got quite irritating when you were trying to have a sword fight and the screen locked up, but that just what happens when you have NEW TECHNOLOGY, it takes time for everybody involved to get used to it and perfect it. There is nothing better than getting togther with a bunch of mates and playing red steel, it envokes the same feeling that i had when i was younger playing the best FPS ever, Goldeneye. Its just fun, and thats what console gaming is about. Fun. I really enjoyed it, and i cant wait for the 2nd one, it will only get better.
