Philly Dad Kills 17-Month Old Daughter Over Xbox 360

Tyrone Spellman. Remember that name because he truly is a piece of sh**. Here’s the story according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. 25 year old Tyrone Spellman was playing Ghost Recon on his Xbox 360 when his 17-month year old daughter pulled on the plug of the Xbox 360, which resulted in it dropping to the ground.

“She pulled the cord and the whole game console fell over. I thought it was broken. I popped her in the face. I picked her up and tossed her in a chair.”

That “pop in the face and toss in the chair” killed his friggin daughter. Over what? His Xbox 360 dropping? I would love to have been in his head the moment it happened to see his train of thought and how he thought hitting and throwing his 17-month old daughter was the right thing to do.

[Update: MicroGamer on News4Gamers.com submitted a GamesAxis article that had his picture up. So I updated the picture to show what he looks like in case anyone bumps into him in Philly.]

This is horrific , I got a chill down my spine when I read this! He can not be ok in the head how can you do that to a little baby:( Watch people blame Ghost Recon and games for violence! Try that angle!

  2. Brandon Says:

Babylinda, don’t say that (about him not being ok in the head), if other people start to think that way he’ll get off on some bull crap insanity defense about how the video games made him violent. Video games didn’t make him violent, his being a dipshit made him violent.

It’s this kind of ridiculous extremes that make people believe the media garbage about how kids that play games gun down schools. I don’t think PA has a death penalty anymore, which is unfortunate.

  3. BB Says:

If they don’t, then Tyrone is going to wish for the death penalty because I’m sure his jail mates are going to make his anus a bloody bright red cause I’m sure they won’t use any form of lube when raping him…

Sorry if I got a little graphic there, I just get so angry when I hear these types of stories. It makes no sense to act in that manner

  4. jes Says:

Wow - that’s awful. I can’t imagine why people react the way they do. Logically, I’m sure he was frustrated that it happened, but she was 17 months old! He should NEVER react that way, especially to children.

    This story makes me sad!

  5. Babylinda Says:

Oh ofcourse it is not about the video game violence it is him being F’ed in the head. Ofcourse he should get the death sentence for whatever reason I do not condone his behavior in any aspect whatsoever. It isnt video game violence what I said is that the news him and others will use that as a clutch instead!

  6. Gamer4z0 Says:

[...] a steak knife after losing a video game and being asked to pass the controller. About six months ago a man killed his 17-month old infant daughter after she unplugged his XBox 360. These were just Philadelphia-area incidents. Who knows [...]
