Overweight Guy Loses 11 Pounds in One Month With Nintendo Wii
This was a news spot on some random guy in Iowa who has lost 11 pounds in 4 weeks playing the Nintendo Wii. I think it’s great that the Wii offers some physical exercise, but maybe this could also be giving gamers a bad name. If you want real exercise, go outside and enjoy the fresh air. I hate to say it, but games should be more for relaxation and entertainment. Losing weight with a Wii is a good bonus, but it’s no substitute for having a life and going outside sometimes. Research has shown that people are less depressed when exposed to the sun more often. It’s definitely a nice thing to have some exercise with gaming, but go outside from time to time and have fun the natural way too.
Video after the break.

That is a nice video, but you need not criticize others for exercising inside. It is better than nothing. And you have to lose some weight first before you can get a life, because people these days are shallow and don’t like fat people. Many people do aerobics inside, no problem with that, but you want fresh air and sunshine? Open the windows and blinds or better yet, take the game outside.

Ah. well i don’t pay mind to the shallow people. Even if you are overweight, you need to get out there and not worry what morons think.
Taking the game outside isn’t a bad idea. My main point is that gaming is great. I’m guilty of spending entire days and nights inside playing them myself. But there’s still no indoor match for working out outside.

[...] Hay un chaval que se ha dispuesto a perder peso con su Wii.
