Nintendo Wii Day!
Well, the wait is finally over. The Nintendo Wii has been released and if you are reading this, say a little prayer for me because I am probably out in the freezing cold waiting in line to get my Wii.
As a way to celebrate, I have included a couple of videos that I found on YouTube that shows the Wii’s history and how long this momentous occasion has been in the works. These 3 videos go from the time the Nintendo DS was announced, all the way up to this point. If you have been following the Nintendo Wii (codename: Revolution), then you’ll remember when the black box was revealed, you’ll remember when the Wii-mote was revealed, and you’ll remember when all of the videos were released showing how the games will be played. I was there through it all, and I’m here to say I am going to support the Nintendo Wii, no matter what.
Happy Nintendo Wii Day everybody!

Thanks buddy, I preordered a month or so ago, so I’m guaranteed one as soon as my store opens at 11am. It sucks cause I’m so excited that I barely slept last night. Right now it’s 7:00am and I wish I could go back to sleep so I could just wake up at 11am and go!

[...] I want one, I need one, I’m desperate for one, and this particular Wii needs more than a toilet to solve the problem. The Nintendo Wii came out in the States yesterday and has been received with pretty much universal praise. The problem is this piece of gaming innovation isn’t out in the UK and the rest of Europe until the 8th of December. I can’t wait that long, it means keeping my legs crossed in a very sad and unfunny metaphor for another 3 weeks! [...]
