Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword DS Demo Video

During Tecmo’s ‘Nite Out 07′ event held in Tokyo, Japan last night, Tecmo showed off Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword for the Nintendo DS. The interesting thing about the game from the footage shown is the fact that 99% of all of the moves are made through the touch screen (blocking is the only move that is used by pressing any button on the DS).

If you notice, for a Nintendo DS game, the graphics are pretty good in comparison to most DS games. The speed of the game and the amount enemies on the screen at once is very impressive.

My major concern is how comfortable players will feel having to juggle between tapping on the screen to move Ryu and slicing at the screen to issue attack commands. Since the previous Ninja Gaidens were known for being difficult games, it should be interesting to see how difficult they make the DS Ninja Gaiden.
