Next Simpson’s Episode To Tackle MMO Games

According to the spoiler posted by the watchingsimpsons.com blog, it looks like the next Simpsons episode is going to follow the South Park route and discuss the world of MMORPGs.

Marge becomes a spectacle during a PTA meeting for not having an e-mail address, and she decides to take a chance on using the Internet. Amazed and delighted by all Promo.gifthe Internet has to offer, Marge decides to join a popular role-playing fantasy game named “Earthland Realms.� To Marge’s dismay, the game has her interacting with practically the whole town of Springfield, including Bart, who happens to be the game’s most feared and destructive player.

It’s kind of interesting the writers of the Simpsons decided to have Marge stumble onto the MMO world instead of Homer. But I can totally see Bart being the a-hole in the MMO world. I can’t wait to see what they cook up in this upcoming episode. Be sure to check back next week and I’ll most likely have a video up showing off a portion of the episode.
