New X-Play Bioshock Preview Video
X-Play’s ‘Summer Preview’ episode that aired last week was chock full of some tasty footage on the games we are expected to spend our hard earned money on this summer.
Bioshock was of course one of the games featured in the episode. One of the more interesting things about this preview was it actually shows a good amount of footage on altering the player’s genetics and the different genetical enhancements we can expect.
I also love how the developers continue to reiterate Bioshock is a FPS. Hopefully Bioshock will open the eyes of developers that an FPS doesn’t have to be set in WWII or be a 32 player blood fest to be successful.
Microsoft, Xbox 360, PC, Bioshock

[...] As part of last week’s X-Play video game Summer Preview they received an exclusive look at Bioshock and got some new in-game footage. And what more can we say? Bioshock is fresh, unique, and one tempting Summer purchase. Hell, the water effects are worth the price of admission and we’re not embarrassed to say that the electro-bolt plasmid makes us get all teary-eyed. Actually, our only reservation about the game is that there is no online co-op or multiplayer to speak of, but we’re not sure if that really matters in the grand scheme of things. So, where does Bioshock fit on your video game purchase list? [...]
