New Halo 3 TV Ad!

Tonight the new Halo 3 Ad premiered on TV tonight and even though it didn’t show any real gameplay footage, it did contain some awesome CG. One very cool moment in the commercial was when Master Chief throws a grenade to the ground, only to be covered by a force field. I would love to see this being used when Halo 3 comes out.

    Too bad NONE of that is in game footage. You guys know they contracted out the CGI work for that right? I love Halo more than most people I know, but I hate game ads that show NO in game footage. Halo is no exception.

    Yeah, it was cool if it were a trailer for the caneled movie. Sigh.

    Yeah, i knew it was all CG (created by Digital Domain, nonetheless, but based off of Bungie’s models). But I don’t care because SO COOL. Part of what I love about Halo is the story and that ad just piqued my interest. ;)

    Yeah, the latest article about H3 in Electronic Gaming Monthly just destroyed all hopes I had of holding out against getting an Xbox 360 this summer and saving my money for paintball.

    the two kids are actually john (master chief) and kelly (another spartan) from the books. its crazy how they said they wanted to meet them but then in the future they would be fighting them right where they had that conversation

    Yeah.. that actually does look cool. I can’t wait till Microsoft just gives up already so it comes to PS3. Stearing planes with the Sixaxis will be much better.

    Oh that’s right… I got confused there for a moment… banshee duh. Yes, that might be cool I’m sure that when Microsoft gives up their multi-billion dollar business to make games on other systems that Halo will be really cool on the PS3. I don’t care what system Halo is on… damn I need it.
