Mill o’ Rumour: Sony ITSELF Trying to Spoil Halo 3 Launch?

Furthering the rumors that someone is going to try to spoil the ending to Halo 3, Bsams is reporting that, based on an “interesting tip” they the received, Sony itself may be attempting to spoil the Halo 3 ending by hiring people to go out and shout the ending at the crowds.

I don’t see the point in all of this. In the end, it’s not going to stop anyone from buying Halo 3, and at it’s worst, it could actually have a very, very heavy backlash on Sony. Sony hasn’t exactly had a spotless PR record the past year or so. I’m sure we all remember that piss poor “All I Want For Xmas is a PSP“.

    This is all true. Sony was caught altering wikipedia in an attemp to make halo 3 look bad.

    That’s it people, don’t breathe down sony’s back because someone decided to e-mail someone else and tell them this stupid fucking story.

    Like sony would actually pay someone to spoil the ending of halo 3.

    And no, I’m not a sony fanboy, I have a 360 and it’s wonderful.
