Mill o’ Rumour: Final Fantasy VII on the PS3? (Forgive me)
I know, I know. It seems that every other week there’s another “Final Fantasy VII remake” rumor floating around the internet. Well, after receiving the image above in an e-mail from a Mr. “SYLad” who claims to have taken a picture of it, I’m starting up another one. (I had originally said it was a scanned image — that was my bad)
Sorry, kids — I gots to.
Now, this is listed as a rumor because I have no idea where he got a hold of this, or where it came from. However, if it IS official, then I would say that it’s pretty damn likely that it’s hinting towards a FF VII remake.
It’s interesting to note that earlier this week it was reported that Final Fantasy VII was listed as one of the games on SquareEnix’s roster.

Hi there,
I noticed your post and thought I’d just add a comment. I can clarify the validity of this picture, as I too have one. It is the back pages of the Final Fantasy 7 10 year anniversary limited edition manual that came with the anniversary potion. I myself have one and have always wandered why nobody started talking about the remake as this clearly shows Square-enix’s intentions to make one.
Once again this is not a fake and I am certain there will be a remake.

I have had a person on my community that says he’s a tester in japan I can verify he is in Japan so he’s probably not lying. But he also said that a friend of his is Testing the remake and also that 8 and 9 are also being remade, 7 will be released first but when all 3 are released they’ll all be released in 1 big box-set with extra stuff.
He said 2008 but I’m thinking closer to 2010-2012.
