Microsoft Announces Two Other Avenues to Get into Halo 3 Multiplayer

When I originally heard that Bungie would be allowing certain people to get into the Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta, I thought only a select 1000 or so people would get in. But now, with the latest news straight from Bungie and Microsoft, it seems anyone really can get into the Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta if they try.
I reported previously that there would be a key in every box of Crackdown when it’s released that will gain you access to the Halo 3 Mutliplayer when it’s released in the Spring. That was path #1. Today, Microsoft announced the other path to get into the Halo 3 Multiplayer. The other way is to play Halo 2 for at least 3 hours beginning Feb. 1 and ending Feb. 3. Then, all you need to do is be one of 13,333 people to register at http://www.halo3.com. It’s that simple!
For those of you who already play Halo 2 to obsession, that should seem pretty easy. I personally think pre-ordering a game I was already planning on getting is alot easier. But, to each his own.

I want a 360, and I want it now. Man, when I saw the Starry Night video, that totally sealed it, before Halo 3 comes out, I need to have a 360.
