MGS4 may not be Kojima’s last, after all

Remember back at E3 how Kojima’s Hideo Kojima announced that Metal Gear Solid 4 would be the last in the long-running Metal Gear Solid franchise that he would directly be involved with? Well, according to the new Vice President of Konami’s Digital Marketing, Anthony Crouts, that may not be the case.
In the phone interview, Crouts explained that he believes Kojima would never allow himself to let go of Metal Gear Solid. Crouts continued, remarking “In one capacity or another, he will always be involved in the Metal Gear franchise”.
Now, keep in mind that Kojima has made similar comments in the past. In 2004, when Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was released on the PlayStation 2, Kojima was quoted as saying that he was done with the Metal Gear Solid franchise. But, much like the mafia, every time you get close to being free, they pull you back in.
But hey, if this IS his last, at least he can still see Snake in Super Smash Bros., right?
