Mario’s Party cut short

It seems that Nintendo has decided to pull all current copies of the brand new Wii title Mario Party 8, off the shelves in the UK.

The new game, released only Friday in the UK, is said to contain and “offensive” word or comments. Though Nintendo did not reveal exactly what was so wrong with the game, a statement released this morning claimed that an assembly error caused a small portion of the games to contain the wrong disc; which then begs the question, exactly how many different master discs were there in the first place?

While current stock is being pulled from the shelves, Nintendo has not yet announced a new release date for the hotly anticipated Mario Party sequel.
