Lost Planet sequel in the works?

Let’s get one thing straight right now — I CAN’T READ NEWS TIPS IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES! This is an ENGLISH-typing website, and therefore would like source material written in said English. With that said, it appears German-typing website Xbox-Archiv.de has learned that Capcom is currently developing the sequel to Lost Planet, entitled Lost Planet Colonies.

According to the listing on the German equivelent of the ESRB, the USK, the sequel to Lost Planet is an Xbox 360 exclusive (for now, of course), and the game is being published by CEG Interactive Entertainment. They’re owned by Capcom, by the way.

Now, I was probably the only person on the planet who wasn’t impressed with Lost Planet. However, you all loved it to bits so a sequel wouldn’t particularly shock me.
