LEGO Batman Set To Capture LEGO Sized Criminals

Following the huge success of the Lego Star Wars series, Warner Bros. has decided to get into the game and has hired TT Games, the developers of the Lego Star Wars games, to develop “Lego Batman”.
“Lego Star Wars” titles, both of which sold several million units in the U.S. alone, were family-friendly games featuring characters and settings from the “Star Wars” universe made out of the famous toy bricks.
“Lego Batman” will follow a similar template, and Warner will release it in 2008 on multiple consoles.
Looks like the dark knight’s story is going to get a lot cuter. I’d love to see how The Joker looks in LEGO form.

I have yet to try out one of the lego games. Although I loved legos are a child. Perhaps I will have to rent one of the star wars games to get a taste of what its like.

Star Wars Legos (video game) seems like something for the kids, but I’m telling you the games are a blast even for old dudes like me. There’s a lot of humor involved in the games and it’s really geared towards hard Star Wars people who would get it.

Yeah, the lego games are surprisingly fun. Hopefully more companies will grant the rights for this kind of thing.
As for legos themselves? I always am amazed at how much they cost. A little pirate ship will be like 40 bucks!

I’m still more excited to see the next Batman movie! Aaron Eckhart playing Two Face, that guy was badass in Thank You for Smoking.

you know when I was off for several years in the middle east, my dad sold all my Star Wars toys at a garage sale for like 10 bucks for the whole collection.. I had pretty much everything. I was so enraged when I found out. He said he didn’t think I wanted my “kid” stuff anymore. I’m still a kid lol.

[...] Anyone who’s anyone loves Lego’s. And anyone who’s awesome loves Batman. And if these two groups got together and made a illegitimate love child, Lego Batman the game would be it.
