Comicbookbin.com offered some suggestions on how to make video games more desireable for women. These include:

1. Polish The Looks

2. Social Context & Networking

3. Don’t Make It Girly

4. Avoid Marketing As Geeky Game

5. Hire More Women Creators & Developers

I would have to agree with all of their ideas. I feel that we are just around the corner from the video game industry capturing the attention of females everywhere. Most women love playing games in reality, but right now there just isn’t a lot out there targeting their niche in the economy. I think we could all benefit greatly when women become a greater part of gaming. Games should represent society as a whole which most fail to do now. I think if we included females and also more cultures into games, that it would finally be recognized as the art form that we as gamers know it is.
