Hooked! to be released on Nintendo Wii

Hooked! Real motion fishing is being slated for exclusive release on the Nintendo Wii. This was announced by Aksys Games today, but initially revealed through a Gamestop.com product listing, earlier on in the week. Both the Wii remote and Nunchuk will be used to simu;ate realistic fishing motions, including an attachment as shown here.

What is even more exciting though, is that Hooked! will be Wii enabled. This is news since no north American Wii release has supposed online competitions, except for “Pokemon Battle Revolution” which ships next week.This game features six lakes (including a man made reservoir) plus a meteorite crate. The single player game has a number of modes such as Tournament, Practice and Time attack.

The entire game stop package is expected to cost $59.99, but the game alone should retail for $39.99. An early September release has been reported by GameStop for the entire package.
