Heavenly Sword Delayed?
It seems Tom over at TheLastBoss has been a busy boy. He did a little snooping and found out that Heavenly Sword might possibly be delayed! This news is rather disturbing since the game was “supposed” to come out tomorrow, March 6th. (I guess that’s why the small cameo in tonight’s Heroes)
According to his research, it seems that it might be coming out on July 15th. Grrrrrrreat. I don’t have a PS3 yet, but I know this would have been a huge month is Motorstorm and Heavenly Sword came out. It really would have brought faith back in current PS3 adopters. Let’s all just hope that Motorstorm is as good as it’s promised to be.
One last thing, Tom also was able to find an interview with one of the developers that was located on a Norwegian site. There’s even a Q&A section up on his site that has some pretty good information on how Heavenly Sword will play. Here’s one of the Q&As:
Q: Tilt functionality - will the game use a lot of tilt functionality of the Sixaxis? Could you give us examples please?
A: We do make use of the Sixaxis in Heavenly Sword. For example if you are firing a bazooka you have the ability to go into AfterTouch where you follow the projectile and guide it - tilting the Sixaxis directs it. I think feels quite natural and satisfying.

So is it going to be delayed or not? Seemed interesting the half a second it was on heroes.
