Halo 3 Says, “Please Play Me”

Halo 3 Tops List Of Best Selling Games In 2007

Bungie has been working hard at changing up Halo 3 in an effort to win back some of the masses that left it for games like Call of Duty 4. One of the newest is the altered experience system and even newer than that are more achievements. Hey, everyone loves achievements right?

Well the only thing that’s possibly not cool about new Halo 3 achievements is that they are online related. The problem with online achievements is they can distract people from actually trying to win and actually encourage them to do specific things to get their achievements. Most of the achievements that have been revealed so far are pretty benign and might not be much of a problem, but when you get ones that reward a splatter spree then you’ve just given someone to only focus on trying to splatter people instead of doing things like helping the team win and that’s just lame.
