Halo 2 Maps
I received a tip from Canada360, fellow Halo 2 Veteran and overall good guy that Bungie is starting to drop information on their site about the long awaited maps. According to the tip, all they are saying is that one map will have a cold base and the other base will be warm. The maps are not Snowbound.
I’m personally looking forward to the maps and honestly expect them to be released in the very near future. I also have a feeling that Halo 2 will continue to be a competitor well after the release of Halo 3. I’ll give you guys an update as soon as I hear one.

Oh Great ! Now I’ll never hear the end of it from Canada360. I was on 1pstart! blah blah blah… He’s already a Beta tester, without buying Crackdown. Now this ! He’s gonna think he’s something special if this keeps up ! Do you really think H-2 will be busy on live after H-3 releases? Maybe just for us poor saps that don’t have a 360 yet. I’ll be buying mine just before H-3 comes out. Maybe sooner if I get a job. I am looking forward to the new maps after all.

Halo 2 is basically unplayable at this point for me. It has joined the ranks of Counter-Strike and C&C Generals as games I have retired for good.

I played a bunch of Halo 2 today. It was a good time.
No need to retire it just yet, it’s still the best FPS I have. I enjoy it more than Gears.

For me, it always goes back to Halo. I’ll play whatever game and then see that a bunch of Halo 2 people are on and can’t resist it.

Halo 2 is the biggest ego check ever. Playing offline with your friends you can be unstoppable. Online? different story.

The statistics of people who still play halo 2 are baffling. People really do latch on to a game and play it forever. Although its not really surprising, people still play Starcraft for crying out loud.
