Half-Life 2 Orange Box & Black Box Details

Valve is going to release Half-Life 2 later this year, and they’re supplying us with two different flavors of the game.
Half-Life 2: Black Box (PS3, Xbox 360)
Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal, Team Fortress 2
Price: $39.99
Half-Life 2: Orange Box (PS3, Xbox 360)
Contains: Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal, Team Fortress 2
Price: $59.99
This is a great idea since a lot of people played Half Life 2 and HL2: Episode One already. They can just buy the Black Box and pay a reduced price for the next episode with Portal and Team Fortress 2. One thing I’m wondering though is how will the achievements be effected on these separate flavors? Will there be not as many achievement points in the Black Box than the Orange Box? Looks like achievement whores have something to ponder.

This is an amazing article. It really has me pondering.
I may or may not be an achievement point whore.

I’ll be interested in the Black Box. TF2 is all I’m looking forward to.
I thought there was a PC release. I’d most likely get it for PC. The mouse is the easiest to control while your sniping.

I’ll probably go for the Orange pack since I only played a little bit of HL2. I’d love to see how it feels to play it in my living room with the plasma and 4.1 surround sound (yea, I got a center channel speaker, but I’m too lazy to mount the sucker)

Everyone (Real Gamers) know TF was meant to play on PC. I’m not a X-box fanboy that worships everything for the damn X-box!
Whew, I was typing so hard from the anger, now I lost my ” ” key. Damn I can’t even hit it, it’s gone.

Yea, I know it should be really hard to not be an Xbox fanboy when you don’t own one.
