Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360 Giveaway Contest Sweepstakes Super Fun Announcement! [Update]
Hey folks, BB here with the *OFFICIAL* announcement of the Guitar Hero II giveaway! One lucky reader of 1PStart.com is going to be the proud owner of a brand-spankin’ new copy of Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360. Now just to clarify, this is the Guitar Hero II with the Xbox 360 guitar accessory. As usual, there are some rules you all have to follow to make sure this is a nice, clean giveaway.
Rules:
- In order to submit a contest entry, readers simply need to comment from March 9th, 2007 until April 1st, 2007
- Any comment on any article will be counted as an entry, so comment often!
- Only legitimate comments will be counted towards the contest. So no “Cool” or “Fag” comments. I’m giving this thing away for free, so the least you can do is make a coherent sentence.
- At the end of the contest, all of the comments will be tallied and be put in a huge sack. I personally will pass by the local drug store, where a bum on the corner will be tricked into picking out a comment, thinking there’s some yummy alcohol in the bag. Bum will pull out comment, winner will be chosen, and I shall thank the bum by throwing iced coffee at his bag of clothes.
- Try not to fall in love with the site, because after the contest, your pretty much stuck with just reading my inane ramblings on all things gaming. But who knows, maybe you’ll actually enjoy the site and decide to stick around.
And that pretty much sums up the contest. I look forward to reading your comments and hoping that you all stick around after it, cause it gets mighty lonely here on the internets. Huge thanks to 451 Press for supplying 1PStart with the prize for this contest.

Revently, I began work at a gaming cafe (35 computer LAN, 85 games, the works.) and a customer brought in his copy of Guitar Hero, a game I had never played.
He actually managed to make nearly every Counter Strike player stop and watch. When I tried, it was, of course, not nearly as impressive, but I was able to pull off several David Lee Roth-esque leaps, which made the experience all the more enjoyable.
Anyway, here’s hoping I get this. The store could use a setup, and the world could use more Roth Jumps.

Guitar Hero really has changed the way gamers play. I know the Wii-mote is considered the new innovative product, but to play guitar through your console…. genuis!

I personally dont like PC games because having to use the keyboard and the waiting time. But I do think that it can match the 360 graphicsl, or possiby even better

Don’t really know what I have to type, but I would like to be entered in the contest. If you have to put a reason or something, I think I would be a good person to pick because I really enjoy the time that I get to play the PS2 version of the game (in the wal-mart demo in the middle of the store) and I can’t really afford to plunk down all the money to buy the 360 version of the game. I’d like to make a comment for the contest, but I really have nothing to say. Or was that a comment? Is a comment about nothing still a comment? Is it possible to write about nothing while still saying something? Jerry Seinfeld made a career out of it. But yeah, he’s much smarter and much much better at it than I am. I guess it is possible to make a comment by saying nothing, it’s just not as…meaningful. So i guess I made a comment after all. Unfortunately for everyone reading this, including myself, it didn’t make a damn bit of sense and I just wasted everyones precious time. Stay tuned. Hey Scott, welcome to the site. You are correct, you really don’t have to “compete” to win the guitar hero II contest, all you need to do is comment on the articles here on 1PStart.com. The more you comment, the more entries you have in the contest. But make sure they actually add something to the article or is an actual response, because those are the ones that will be counted

I am so desperate for this game but am struggling to actually make it right in my head to pay so much for it. My girlfriend said she would buy it for me but I can’t let her do it. She cant afford to pay her mortgage most months. This dilemma will keep me going for a while.

well i was never a fan of those games i hated them but i love music so when i went to my friends house and they had guitar hero 1 i was like well this could be cool i guess and i totally sucked at it but i got addicted. but we were so addicted to it that as soon as we got enough money to get number 2 we drove 2 1/2 hours away to get it at 6 in the morning ya it was sweet but anyway now i am a pimp and no body in my county can beat me at it so i cant wait for the 360 version to see what i rank in the world
