Guitar Hero 1980s Edition Set To Rock Your World!

Reports are popping up on the internet that there may be a new Guitar Hero. The latest EGM is reporting that Guitar Hero: 1980s Edition is being worked on and will be ready for launch this spring for the PS2.

And since the Xbox 360 version is going to include downloadable content via the marketplace, I could see this heading towards the 360 as well via a track update.

Unless they make new guitars with USB connectors this will never make it up to the PS3. Actually, I don’t understand why they don’t make it for the PS3 to begin with. I’m positive it will be.

I hate to give the competition more traffic, but I’m only 1 person and I can’t report each and every bit of gaming news:

Wow, BB, that might actually be newsworthy in and of itself

Wow, 1pstart guy does care for all of our needs!!

    I’ll pick up a pair.

I wonder if you can use that Nyko adapter to play PS3 games with vibration.

The Six-Axis is a piece of crap without vibration. I am not interested in playing games without force feedback. Call me spoiled, we’ve had it for close to 10 years — it’s impossible to go back.

  7. BB Says:

Yea, it takes alot of effort to write all of these posts, as simple as I make it seem, so I rather just link to that story and be done with it. Maybe in the future I’ll stop kissing so much Crackdown or Wario Ware ass and post actual cool news like the Nyko adapter

  8. Babylinda Says:

I think you should make a blog about the adapter just to make Mr. Juannnnnnnnderful’s day! He is an avid reader and all!

  9. Scott Says:

Sweet, my whole family loves Guitar Hero II and with the 80’s version, I might know some of the songs!

  10. Chad Says:

They’ve had a decent amount of 80’s music in the existing games, so it will be interesting to see some of the more obscure 80’s songs pop-up in this one.
