Grandma Curses Up Storm Playing Resistance
It seems OldGrandmaHardcore is at it again. This time, she’s playing Resistance: Fall of Man and she’s getting pwned haaaard!
Grandma and I are used to playing Gears of War on co-op mode on the XBox 360, in which Grandma usually hides behind a rock of some kind, peaks around a corner and blows up emergence holes while I sneak around to the side and try to pick off anything she misses. You can’t do that in Resistance. Whatever has the firepower is coming after YOU; it doesn’t matter that there’s a platoon of AI friendlies it should probably worry about more. It’ll ignore them and come after your ass from across an empty field.
Looks like Grandma needs to learn how to take proper cover and also throw a grenade every once in a while. Silly Grandma, games are for kids

Hahaha. I love this lady. Ever since I saw the video of her playing Halo, I was like “wow that’s a cool grandma”. I read a recent article in EGM where they went to a old folk’s home (one extremely close to my house actually) and they test drove the Wii to see if it really is for people of all ages, and they mentioned her in it. She told Nintendo to give her a Wii for free in the interview, I wonder if they did? I hope she did, I want to see a video of her playing Red Steel.

This will be me in 30 years. I will still be playing when I’m 66. Can you imagine where gaming will be by then ? I look forward to pwning my grandchildren.

I wish this was my grandma. Is it me or does the PS3 look huge. I think it’s bigger than her blue slippers….lol.

I curse playing Resistance as well, but it’s not cause I’m bagging on people or anything. Simply because of my frustration with sucking so badly on console FPS games. And @Mazz I remember when I was playing WoW one of the top 10 guilds had a 50+ year old main tank! Those are the coolest old people. I liked WoW cause I was in this guild with all these older people and we still made it into the top 10 US guilds. They’re so much more mature, so it made it fun… Then when I sign onto Xbox Live at my friends’ houses or when I sign onto the Playstation Network at my house… all you see is annoying pre-teen wangsters.
