Georgia Plans To Build Major Video Game Industry

Georgia currently is home to over 50 video game companies. State officials down there have decided to attempt to create a major industry of video games.
The Georgia Film, Video and Music division of the Department of Economic Development announced Friday that Asante Bradford will serve as a liaison to the video-game industry, or as the press release described him, as a “digital entertainment guru.”
Georgia has been rapidly expanding and I think it’s possible they could develop a successful thing down there. Atlanta is one of the fastest growing metro areas in the United States. They can’t seem to develop good sports teams, but perhaps one day Georgia will be known for video games. Perhaps they can take advantage of NFL Quarterback Ron Mexico being there and develop some football games to compete with Madden.
