Does Gaming Really Pay?

Designing video games for a living has been a dream for many people over the years. Writing for 1P Start and getting paid to do so is a dream of mine. Who would turn down money to be involved with games? An annual survey discovered that the median salary in the gaming industry is $73,000. Some may question why a game developer is pulling down $73,000 and teachers or social workers don’t even make half. The answer is that the video game industry is making tons of money. As the industry continues to grow, the salaries will keep going up.
I can’t tell you how much I’m making at 1P Start, but I can tell you it’s enough to pay for my sports car, a yacht, and a mansion in Malibu.

I actually sold a copy of Halo 2 for crack money. It wasn’t for booze. I wouldn’t do that.

yes it may be a little known fact, but we smoke plenty of crack and meth here at 1PStart. How do you think we are awake 24-7 playing games and researching them?

Don’t forget about the gallons of Red Bull we drink. We should really get them as a sponsor, this site is basically thanks to them
