Forget Rushing to GameStop This Tuesday for Bioshock, Get It On Steam

No one saw this coming, but many are sure glad it did. It seems as if Bioshock is going to be available on Valve’s Steam, and is available for Pre-Purchase now. The game will sell on the digital distribution network for $49.95, the same price as the regular version of the PC game in store, but excluding tax. Though this may be cool and convenient, paying $10 more for the GameStop exclusive limited edition which features the Big Daddy figurine, soundtrack, and other bonus material, would probably be a good idea.
Though if you love buying stuff on the internets, go ahead and Pre-Download this now, because this is definitely a game that you will lose sleep over. Hell, just buy it twice.
While you are at it, if you would like some Bioshock goodies, enter our contest here.

Or better yet, head down to Circuit City where they’ll be selling a hard copy that you don’t need an internet connection at all times to play, and you can bring places with you, for only $39.99.
