Experiance The World War II - Theatre of war

The game of Theatre of War is based on the theme of World War II. The feel of the game is quite authentic and is reminiscent of the atmosphere of strife that was prevalent during the second World War.

The strategy for playing the game is twofold. A player has to have patience. In addition, he must have a well thought-out plan to beat the enemy and taste success. It becomes necessary for him to examine the battlefield well before starting the game. Proper planning is also required to take on the enemies - especially those who are hidden and outside the purview of the person playing the game. Before starting the game, an interested person can browse through the basic tutorial, which could then give him or her an understanding of the ways of playing the same.

Players of Theater of War should have enough forbearance to play this game. The game consists of five long campaigns designed after different battles fought during the second World War in the Europe. A person playing the game can take on the different campaigns in any particular order that suit him or her. For instance, one could choose to control smaller portions of the war such as the war with France and Poland. One could also take on the heavy-weights such as the British or the American army.

Missions are initiated with a given amount of units which could be further reinforced in the course of the game and when players can realize certain objectives that are already fixed. As a matter of fact, gaming enthusiasts can engage in as many as 40 battles within this war game. In the game play, the soldiers possess different skill sets; and after every successful mission, a gamer can offer upgrades to the soldiers as rewards. In addition, a person playing the game can use artillery, to diminish the line of defense of the enemy.

The Theatre of War comes with amazing graphics; when the damage is viewed on screen , it appears quite realistic. However, a little more time could have been given in improving the sound track of this otherwise amazing game.
