DVD Format Not Enjoying Unreal Tournament 3

We all know that PC and PlayStation 3 owners are going to witness the carnage that Unreal Tournament 3 brings before anyone else, but we didn’t think that the Xbox 360 version would be watered down. According to Mark Rein, VP of Epic Games, the Blu-Ray format of the PS3 has given them a lot of “legroom” to make sure that the extreme count of maps that the Unreal Tournament franchise is famous for.
“we may have fewer maps on the 360 version…Blu-Ray has definitely given us a lot of legroom.”
The DVD format of the Xbox 360 lately seems to be limiting developers in terms of space, and the Xbox 360 version may contain less maps than the other two versions of the game. Could this mean downloads for the rest of the maps? Would they possibly charge for them? I can see the Xbox 360 community rioting if this were the case.
Changing discs in the middle of level loading would definitely be a pain, especially if the PS3 and PC owners load into the game before everyone else. I’m sure they would love to wait for their Xbox 360 enemies if cross-platform were to occur.
