Call of Duty World at War Kill Streak Rewards
It’s no doubt that Call of Duty 4’s success would heavily influence every subsequent Call of Duty game and it looks like World at War is proving that theory right. In World at War kill streaks in multiplayer will get you different bonuses that will help you kill even more, just like the airstrikes and helicopters in COD4.
Here’s the list of rewards:
3 Kills - Recon Plane:
Kill three enemies in a row and a recon plane will mark enemies on the map.
5 Kills - Artillery Strike:
Kill five enemies in a row for an artillery strike. Basically this is air strike, but without airplanes.
7 Kills - Unleash the Dogs:
Kill seven enemies in a row and your team will have attack dogs that find your enemies wherever they are hiding and kill them. The dogs will even respawn after being killed.
Now I’m cool with these kinds of rewards for multi-player, but dogs? Man that’s going to get you on some animal rights groups angry side. Personally, I understand their use in the game and think its kind of neat, but I always feel bad about killing a dog in a game. It’s not their fault that they’re jerks.

CoD4 made you kill dogs, too (by snapping their necks, no less). It’s in the single-player campaign.
What’s your source for this information, by the way?

Yes it did and I didn’t say that I liked it. It still kind of sucked to kill a dog, and the difference here is you’d be killing many, many dogs.
I’m sure this won’t make you happy, but I was supposed to put the link in there but I guess I missed it or something and now I can’t find it. So either it’s real and you’ll see it in the game or it’s fake news and I’m a jackass for running with it.

Videos are up at IGN and Gametrailers (showing the dogs).
Looks like a mod for CoD4 right now, which isn’t terrible, but still not the same.
The dogs though, I kind of like them, having it where you can follow your pack to find enemies.
The respawning thing I don’t like.
I hope this game doesn’t prevent Infinity Ward from releasing another map pack for CoD4.
