First and foremost, thank you all for visiting 1PStart for the past month or so commenting up a storm in order to win this prize. I hope in that time you grew to enjoy the site as much as we enjoy working on it and will comment on articles just because you enjoy discussing topics with us and fellow readers. I worked hard all day on Palm Sunday (and April Fools) to gather around all of the names and comments of all of you guys. Trust me when I say I had no idea it’d be this much work. But, I got it done, visited the local bum and he picked us a winner. And the winner is…..

Congratulations to Melissa once again for being the lucky winner of this great prize. As for the rest of you, I am a little disheartened by some of the responses in this post. I understand that some of you are upset, but there was no guarantee that the more you commented, the more likely you were the winner. This wasn’t a “whoever posts the most comments wins” contest. This was a random selection contest where the more you posted coherent responses, the more entries you got into the contest. I was sick all day today and even now I’m not 100%, but I wanted to stop all of this negativity right now and bring the positive back into this post. So once again, congratulations to Melissa.

I wasn’t being negative. I appreciate the work you put into it, and thank you for the chance to win.
But, I couldn’t help my curiosity in wanting to know what the overall tally was, how many posts, what her chances of winning were…. When it’s something you really really want, it’s hard to just go “oh well” without at least knowing how close you were.
As for this case, I think I figured it out. I found her post on one of the original “Guitar Hero Contest” updates.
So she posted once and managed to pull it off. A pretty incredible feat to be sure, and I can go to bed happy that I just lost it to someone who beat all the odds.
