1PStart undergoing some changes

So as you may have noticed, there are some new things happening ’round the 1PStart HQ. Namely, both myself and Paco have joined the team. We, formerly, were the Xbox360Rally guys. So, now that we’re in charge, there are going to be a few changes in the next few weeks. After the break are a few of the changes.

1.)Gamer Girl Spotlight
A long-ass time ago 1PStart was holding some sort of contest spotlighting girl gamers. Awesome. When the original guys left and the new guys took over, the contest was mysteriously halted. Well, with the 3.0 upgrade we’re bringing the Gamer Girl Spotlight back.

But there is a different: Instead of it being a contest, it’ll be a monthly feature. The set-up of each entry will remain much the same as before (Example), and each featured interviewee will be given a $50 commission.

Because I’m just a nice guy like that.

2.) t3h w31rd
This is a weekly feature spotlighting the weird, wild, crazy and fun in the world of gaming. I was going to do one this week, but because of other commitments (aka HOMEWORK), I wasn’t able to. Basically, however, it’s just a weekly excuse for me to be a goof ball.

3.) On-the-ball reporting!
I don’t know what the hell the previous honcho was thinking, but when you’re covering a subject such as video games, you can’t get by with one article a day.

4.) Old-School Saturdays
It used to be Old-School Sundays, but with my bringing t3h w31rd over from Xbox360Rally, there had to be compromise. By both bringing back Old-School Sundays, and moving them to Saturday, we now have a full weekend of goodies for you all to enjoy. Trust me, it makes sense.

5.) More Love!
We love you guys. Without you, we wouldn’t be getting paid — and money is our primary love in life. We only do this video game stuff because we love to play video games, but really… it’s about the green. And, in your making us successful, you’ll reap the benefits as well as we’ll be holding more contests, giveaways, and just plain good ol’ fashioned love.

Those are a few basic changes that you can accept in the next few weeks — it won’t happen overnight, but it WILL happen. And when it does, we’ll all be happy… but it won’t happen next week. We’ll all be playing Halo 3.
